Flatpacked coffee table in plywood and copper
This project was a conceptual design proposal for the competition FSC Design Award 2012.
It is af coffee table inspired from inspired from traditional nesting tables. But for this table the one tabletop is twisted so that the table creates a cross.
The idea is to have two outlets surfaces so you can put your coffee on the lowest and books or electronics at the highest.
The table received the FSC design award’s consumer prize in 2012 and the prototype was exhibited at Danish Design Center in Copenhagen from January 2013 to march 2013.
90 degree is a self-assembly table, where the consumer can assembly the frame and then add on the table tops without tools. The round sticks and fittings are screwed together in threads. The table is therefore suitable for flat packing and can be packed closely together in a box size 65 x 25 x 5 cm.
